LGFB Makeup Brush Launch

Today I had the pleasure of attending the launch of the new Look Good Feel Better Makeup Brush Set. Now I've been to many beauty launches but this one was truly amazing.

If you're not familiar with LGFB, they're a charity who offer free information and workshops to help anyone undergoing treatment for any sort of cancer to better cope with the physical effects.

Today a gorgeous woman named Alex shared her story through cancer and it was so moving (we were all crying!) to hear her story. She is only 25 and is fighting a brave fight to battle ovarian cancer. It was so wonderful to here her speak so fondly of how the LGFB team have helped her cope with the physical effects of her cancer, it truly is such a great program for cancer patients.

Celebrity Makeup Artist Heidi Scarlett King was there to talk about the brushes and to do a makeup demonstration on Alex, which looked ah-mazing.

A great launch for a great cause.

The brushes

As for the brushes, from what I've tested so far and from Heidi's demonstration, they're just lovely. There are 12 brushes in the range, and are made from synthetic fibers that are allergy-free, environmentally friendly and suitable to use on sensitive skin.

My favourite brush out of the range is the powder brush, which is incredibly soft on the skin and glides over the face easily, evenly distributing product.

Look out for them in Priceline and be sure to visit the LGFB webiste, if you'd like to make a donation or help out in some way.
