Latest Work: Candy Land Photo Shoot
The one thing I love about being a makeup artist is the ability to let my imagination go as far as it can. Last month I had the pleasure of working with a talent dream team to create a candy inspired photo shoot.
If you're in the Wollongong area and have a sweet tooth, then you cannot go past Gem Craft, I literally drool when I scroll through her Instagram feed, as she makes the most delicious desserts, and I have to say, it makes me so happy working with strong inspiring women that are just slaying life. Gemma created the most amazing head piece for the local Wollongong shoot with a concoction of her delightful treats.
The other talents were Paul Pennell, local Wollongong wedding photographer, who is just incredibly talented, and our gorgeous model Lauren, who is so versatile with her look and is a dream to work with.

I wanted Lauren's eyes to be the focus so I concentrated on smoothing her complexion rather than overly glamourising her look.
I created a light contour using M.A.C eye shadow Omega, which for any fair skinned beauty, is the best shade for contouring as its light cool brown tone is perfect for imitating shadows on the face.
For her primer I used Dermalogica's Hydrablur Primer which gives almost a smooth velvet like feeling to the skin, ready for foundation. The foundation I used was M.A.C Studio Sculpt, concealer was M.A.C's Pro Longwear Concealer in NW20, blush was Benefit's Dandelion.
For her eyes, I used only one colour which was a M.A.C blush called 'Life's a Picnic', which was part of their recent flamingo makeup story, which I bought locally at David Jones in Wollongong.
